About Bernie

Bernie Mc Adam loves to paint. As a kid, she was constantly absorbed in doodling on copybooks in school much to the consternation of many teachers along the way. Her work reflects change – in environments and in peoples’ lives. She tries to capture the energy that emanates from such flux in her paintings so its important that there is life evident in her work.

Themes such as environmental issues are also a constant topic but she likes to stimulate this visual dialogue in a humourous way – hence the appearance of bewildered looking cows and sheep in strange poses! She works in oils, acrylics.
